Hallo allemaal,

A solution I used for my CBM-HD project: I connected a PC with its LPT port to the IEEE bus and wrote a Pascal program that logged every change. It helped me to solve the problems I had with DOS4.
This means you need to solder a IEEE <-> LPT cable. Another solution is to use a second CBM and let it do the logging. Advantage: no soldering needed. Disadvantage: < 32 KB of memory available for logging. But there is a trick to circumnent this problem: the moment you run out of memory activate NRFD and NDAC at the right moment and the other CBM will think that the drive is busy and will suspend it actions for the time being. That will give you time to check the log and, if needed, to save it to tape (if possible ???). When finished, you release the lines and the show will go on.
