The logic board from a 8250 and a 8050 is the same. So you can switch between via a jumper. I think this is Pin 18 from the RRIOT (6530) of the DC (Disc Controller) at UK3 or UAB3. Have a look in the schematics on http://www.zimmers.net/anonftp/pub/cbm/schematics/drives/old/8050/. I think it must be E4?

I remember, this jumper was in my 8250 a switch. After i toogle this switch, i must reset the unit!
