As far as I know there weren't any bad releases, although the first
revision had its quirks. The power supply is internal, with the power
brick being just a simple transformer, converting the mains power to
9V AC. This made it necessary to install a huge heatsink internally,
which gets quite hot. I've never heard of any problems with
overheating though. On the other hand it has the PET style keyboard
which looks better in my opinion.
