There is a guy who calls himself SirMorris on some forums. He has built and 
refined a couple of SD interfaces for both 6502 and Z80 computers. While I 
doubt he is on this list, you might want to send him a note. For example 
there exists an interface for the BBC Micro which he bug fixed, improved and 
greatly reduced the number of components.
