Seeing those Augat sockets on Mike's X-IDE reminded me of

I've read on here a few times about adapters to convert 24 pin ROM
sockets to take 28 pin EPROMs; what reminded me of this is that
Augat used to make these adapters, but you'd probably have a hard
time finding one today.

However: if anyone is looking for 68764s or 68766s (24 pin 64K
EPROMs) I know someone who had a pile of them at one time
and perhaps still does, and I could check and/or put you in touch.
