Wow... neat. I've done some QFPs before, and they are doable, but not
for beginners.

Indeed. If you decide to go that route in the future, I'll probably
be interested in one, but
for once, I'd probably want a kit of parts, not just a bare board. I
know I don't have any
QFP 65xx parts lying around.
