Ruud, amazing project, I also volunteer to help out in whatever way of coding 
necessary. I'd just need a PCB layout so to make this HD interface for myself, 
or can you etch some spare PCB's and sell them to people here on this mailing 
list while you are at it? My HW skills are unfortunately very limited. I can 
only do theoretical chip design but lack the lab equipment so to say.

Furthermore, I think you should directly dump the GCR sector data (324 byte/
sector) to the sectors of the HD, instead of the alreadyconverted real data, so 
we'd have a nibbler and a very fast mass transfer system at the same time. How 
exciting!
