Since the drive did not work properly with the 12V 1.5A power supply, I
thought I would try something that would be sure to provide enough power,
An IBM laptop power supply, 16V at 4.5A. The drive seemed to be all right
with this, but when I connected the drive to the C64, the screen went
blank, and the C64 stopped responding. Luckily, when I disconnected the
drive, the C64 resumed working.
It seems I need to stick close to the 9V value.
