| This may be one of the printers with a soft setup menu, i.e. if you
|  go to setup mode, it prints all the settings to paper and you can
| change each setting. Try different keypresses when you power up the
|  printer to see if this is true for your model.

Thanks, this worked. On power on you have to press 'Form Feed' and
'Line Feed' (maybe just one, but this worked also).
Then it prints the options. By pressing Form-Feed you can change an
option, 'Local' is used as Acknowledgement.

Maybe someone can add this at funet, cause in the net there wasn't a
digital manual or some other information about this.
Bo Zimmers CBM Site had also some printers with Settings information,
but he left the settings out for the mps1230.
