To start with the last question:

Yes, I do. With my remark "if it runs on the C-1, it will run on the
C64-joystick as well." I wasn't thinkig about the CPU at all but the VIC.
But I must admit I completely forget to ask if the C64-DTV will be equiped
with a 65816 or a 6502.

Although equped with a 65816, IMHO Jeri's goal was that the C-1 should be
100% compatible. So I have my doubts about the above statement. Would you
please give some examples where things could go wrong? I could lead them
further Ironstone.
