Hello!


I have been considering constructing a PC to 1541 cable of some sort, but I would really
 like to hear from you, folks, which ones do you recommend more, also from the point of
 view of existing software and supported file formats. I have some rather unique floppies
 which I would like to preserve for posterity, and they might be copy-proteted (I am not
 sure about this, not familiar with copy-protection schemes in the Commodore world) so
 the software that supports the cable should be able to deal with such things.

So I would like to tap into the power of your collective, extremely valuable practical
 experience and expert opinions.
