Not so with byte/word-programmable FLASHes. Simply chip-erase
the whole chip, then byte/word-program the contents. (This can't
be done with page-programmable chips.)

Of course the addresses to use for the programming/unlock
sequences needs to know about the address mapping, but that
Marko had done..
