Hi,
I recently bought what were described as boot ROMs for the Amiga 1000. (They
contain the code run at startup to load Kickstart from floppy disk.)
At least some A1000s used EPROMs, but these appear to be mask ROMs. They are
28-pin DIP ICs, marked like this:
MOS
252179-01
©1985 CBM
5185 TAIWAN
28005A-0054
MOS
252180-01
©1985 CBM
5085 TAIWAN
28005A-0055
A couple of questions:
- Are these actually A1000 boot ROMs?
- Does anyone know the pinout of these chips? I want to dump the data from
them, but they must be a different pinout to 2764 EPROMs, since using an
EPROM programmer to read them was unsuccessful.
Regards,
