Length of ribbon cable on exp port...

All,

	I have finally scored a 128D :D and I am planning to get an IDE64 for it.
I would like to install the IDE64 and a hard drive inside the machine.  

	Does anyone know how long a ribbon cable can be?  Can you use an IDE type 
cable or is there another one better suited for the job?
