They published an article on converting a 1541 to a 2031.  This modification
can be assembled on a daughter board connected to one of the two 6522 sockets.
I made the modification to one 1541, but my 8032 refused to talk to the drive.
It could be that the ROM code is bad or that there is a bad connection
somewhere.  Maybe I'll try to get it to work some day, but the C2N232 has
already solved almost all my transfer troubles (the B series machines still
need a disk drive, as they don't have tape routines in ROM).
