Hallo allemaal,
I have been playing with my 8032-SK once again to find a replacement for the
6545. I found out that I can replace it with the Hitachi-clone and the
UM6845 but NOT with the Motorola-ones ???
I thought it could be a timing problem so I fed the Motorola-6845 with
various clocks, that is, PHI0, PHI2 etc. etc. The funny thing was that
whatever I changed, the 6545 and other 6845-clones kept on doing their job.
Any ideas ???
