So being a long time PET owner (1979) and having seen the B500
and friends at the dealer when I was window shopping later, what's
the big deal about them? I don't mean that as in "who cares?" I
mean, "what was Commodore thinking?" If you _had_ a 32K PET, what
does a B500 get you that you didn't already have? Was it simply
the latest dressed up PET, or was it enhanced in some way over
the basic features?
I haven't really ever lusted after one; I guess I'm wondering if
it's worth the effort to find one now. Except for the ones at
the dealer 20 years ago, I've never seen one up close to play with.
