Thank you Andre, for your input. The new CPU will have a more elaborate MMU
unit, and will certainly include the basic mapping possibilities that you
described. The goal is to provide a way to run multiple original 6502 code
pieces anywhere in system memory at the same time, for each of those
"thinking" that they are running from $0000-$ffff. Another feature will be
protection and bus-selection. The latter is necessary to define regions that
are not memory, but I/O. Memory accesses will go to the SDRAM bus, I/O
accesses to the original address/data bus.
