    It may be possible to base an adapter on a 27C512 since it has 16 inputs
    and 8 outputs, the same as the 82S100.  You would need more than that.
    You would have to latch the output lines so that they would stay constant
    when the 27C512 is not being actively read. 
    
    If you are going to build an adapter, why not use a more modern FPLA?
