I just had a quick look at the design, because I once thought about making my
own, but to save parts (one inverter) I would've used a 6526. Anyway, I think
I found a potential problem: The CPU I/O port is mapped to PA0-PA6 on the
VIA, but I think that the 8501 misses one of P0-P6 and instead has P7. And
just now I can't connect to Funet to check the schematic :-/
