Hello Piotr,

As I don't own a 1541-II, I cannot help you, but I'm forwarding your 
message to the cbm-hackers mailing list.  I assume that you want to 
install a three-position switch for the write protect sensor.  One 
position would be the normal one, and the other two would make the drive 
believe that the disk is write protected, or it is not, regardless of 
what the sensor sees.  You'd probably need to flip the switch when 
changing disks, since the drive uses the write protect sensor also for 
detecting disk changes.
