I prefer to use the decimal mode whenever the number I'm
working with is meant to be printed out on the screen in
decimal - for example, displaying the score in a game. In
my experiments (of course, someone may be able to code more
efficiently than me ;) it becomes much more efficient to
print out a multi-byte BCD number in decimal than to convert
a multi-byte binary number to decimal.
