Didn't someone post that the 8250 has the same motherboard?  You might
start with those tech manuals, middle light 'not blinking' may be a dead
processor or a controller chip...  :/

Is the lower drive blinking in any pattern (usually a count followed by
a pause, if so, what is the count...)  As mentioned earlier there are
two processors on the Dual Drives, which makes it more challenging.
