I don't see how they could match any English words either.  Remember, this
would be a term from the early 80's.

MDK in a rectangle and alone appears on a number of Commodore boards, not
just C64 and VIC20.

I found a more recent German dictionary.  It said printed circuit was:

gedruckte schaltplat

I may have the spelling wrong.  I didn't write it down.
