I have Kickstart 1.3 in ROM. FFS 40.1 (as supplied on the AmigaOS 3.1 Install disk) is installed in the RDB, and it boots fine from this. The boot partition was formatted using the WB 3.1 Format command. I used HDToolBox to write the disk's RDB.
