I don't think you've ever tried to convince me, you just mentioned once
that it would be nice to have seperate 0/1 drives for compatibility with
the dual drives.

I know it's out there, but if the author never asked for inclusion.

There are some conditions that need to be satisfied for merging
anything, but the most basic rule is quite simple:
If I'm not aware that it exists, it doesn't get in.

Maybe if someone had told me about it and maybe even submitted code
it would be merged already?
