Interestingly, he "almost" uses the same layout I proposed at
https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/comp.sys.cbm/UO4NcRs-3Hg
almost 13 years ago (13. Dec. 1999). The only difference is the -OE (20)
and -CS (22) inputs of the 27512, which he connects to pin 19 of the PLA
(-OE), which is GND on the C64 anyway. In my proposal, I connected them
directly to GND (pin 14 of the PLA).
