Thank you for spelling this out. I would never buy a drm'ed product for 
a retro platform. Who's to say where the creators will be in a year? 5? 
10? You buy something like that, you're buying a paperweight. ( Consider 
the failed experiment by google, for example - GOOGLE.

As soon as he mentioned PKI, I was no longer interested in this. What I 
find especially interesting is that he came here for the free advice in 
order to create a closed product.
