As with most complex modern C64 cartridges (including the EasyFlash 3)
using it in a cartridge expander will almost certainly not work. The
Chameleon can use an RRNet addon though (the 64NIC+ is compatible with
that) and it can directly load EasyFlash .crt images from its SD card
(but I think saving is still unimplemented).

I think the designer even stated once that the "expansion port
exclusivity" is one of the reasons for the Chameleon feature creep some
people complain about - in most cases emulating whatever cart some
people might want to use with the Chameleon on the Chameleon itself
doesn't require additional hardware in there, just a bit of additional
FPGA resources.
