Hallo allemaal,

I'm busy with my 8250IDE project. I finished commenting the 8250 sources
but forgot to place them on my site :( I will do this this evening,
including an updated 1541.ASM.

About the hardware:
Although it says "8250IDE", I don't see any reason why one cannot use an
8050 or even a 4040 board! I myself will use the 8250LP as base for two
simple reasons:
- it uses 28-pin EPROMs, which will enable me to use my 29C256 EEPROM's
(only a bit of soldering needed). It is much easier to reprogram only
one IC then two:
- the 6530 daughterboard with seperate EPROM enables me to use a 2816
(no soldering needed).
At this moment I don't if they are 2564's or 2764's. I knew it yesterday
evening but got confused this morning by the schematics on Bo's site:
they show 2364's! So my question: is there a better/newer schematic
available?

Even if stable 8250IDE ROMs are available, 8250, 8050 and 4040 board
owners will have a problem: they have to solder a socket for an EPROM on
top of the 6530 that must replace the onboard ROM.

Any comment and ideas are welcome!
