He won't have a problem; I've got a Japanese keyboard here as well,  
and the normal characters and graphic symbols are also on the  keys.  
It is an unusual keyboard though; I wonder if Phil has a CG ROM to go  
with it.

Maybe there's some funny stuff to switch between normal text/graphics  
and Japanese that's related to his video problem...
