Why don't you just try, for example, with VICE? Get kernal.901227-02.bin
from zimmers.net.

The C64 will execute LOAD<ENTER>RUN<ENTER>. After this, the C64 will not
respond to the keyboard anymore.

Now the challenge: Why does this happen? Hint: It has to do with the
changes in the $E57C-$E599 area between KERNALs -02 and -03.
