The plus/4 doesn't need additional hardware; just some re-assignment of
the user port pins. There are still 8 I/O port lines there, plus some
RS232 handshaking lines that could be used instead of CB1, CB2, FLAG2, PA2
etc. It's still possible to generate interrupts on the input handshaking
line (cf. CB1, FLAG2) thanks to the 6551 ACIA.

OK, so the C16 and 116 don't have these lines. But then *they* are the
ones that need additional hardware, and in that case the expansion
hardware for running prlink would be a 6551 and a 6529 .....
