I've done this, and it worked okay at the standard speeds, but
the turbo didn't work for me.  I didn't have to crash the 128D,
I just had to clear the serial bus with a LOAD"$",8 or something.

I won't guarantee that this is healthy for the machine, of course,
but it did work.
