My serial bus routines on the C2N232 are ignoring this spec, and the transfer works on the VIC-20 and C64 (LOAD, SAVE, GET#). (The remaining problem, inability to talk to a 1541, cannot be caused by the missing delay, because it hangs already at the end of the first ATN byte.) BTW, Jim, have you made any progress lately? Any code or diagrams that we could have a look at? Specifically, I'd like to see how you will avoid retransmissions with GET# without reducing the buffer size to 1 byte.
