Would using a edge cutter to snip off the unwanted metal leg on one or
both of the ends be a "simple" enough modification to a ready-made cable?
The cable might not be useable for regular RS232 anymore, but would the
C64 user bother about that?
Btw, in my C64 manual I read that the maximum power drain from the +5V
is 50 mA (at least on PAL machines?). I don't know if it makes any
difference, since I'm too little of an electrician to realize the
difference.
