I looks like an addressline of the video RAM isn't connected properly. Let's assume addresline A0 of the RAM is not connected and thus seen as (H) for the RAM. What ever you write to an addressit is stored in 'xxxx xxxx xxxx xxx1'. Reading from '... xxx0' or '... xxx1' results in reading from '... xxx1'.
So writing '1234567890' to the screen will result in '1133557799' or '2244668800' depending in the order you wote it to the screen.
