I have a plus 4 and the power supply looks like a C-64 Power Supply but has
as you say a square connector that matches the one on the Plus4.
I have it on consignment on my web site. Don't know if the owner would sell
the power supply separate or not. Let me know if you want me to ask him. If
you do I need your ZIP code for shipping cost.
