RE: Commodore typewriters

Actually, when I called you I was thinking about this particular item:

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2351113831&category=8252

The auction is now over, and the typewriter went for 12,50 Eurons, which is cheap, if electric typewriters are your thing (and maybe it can be connected to a computer?).

Hi all,

Gianmario told me yesterday that there is a Commodore SQ-1000 typewriter
for sale on www.ebay.de. I just checked the website. There are two auctions,
both with a starting price of 5 EUR and no bids.

Beware the shipping costs if you are interested. I am not, because I
suspect that it's not a genuine piece of Commodore equipment, but merely
a rebranded device. When did Commodore manufacture typewriters and
mechanical calculators, such as the 202 and the 207? I guess that must
have been in the 1960s or 1970s, perhaps until early 1980s.

	Marko
