WiNGS uses ATN to select devices via standard IEC protocol during the
initial serial bus setup. Beyond this, ATN isnt used if I remember right.
If it is, its only used to reselect serial bus devices. Someone correct me ;)
to do data transfers, a synchronous protocol is used on clk and data to
ensure that neither system misses a bit transfer. Its incredibly slow (I
think it may actually be slower than IEC) but it gets the job done and never
loses a bit.
