Reading/writing with a x040 is OK, I do it myself a lot WO problems. The
x030 has a different track layout and a formatted disks ends up with, IIRC,
7 tracks more. Even then reading should be no problem IMHO. Writing is as it
can try to write data to a sector that doesn't exist.
