Hallo Nick, > My proposal is to let the PC to the hardwork as it already > has the hardware > and software support. All needed in the emulator is a way to > send /receive from the PC drive. With all respect for what you're doing, this is something like "mother does not only the cooking but has to feed the baby as well". But I must say the way you consealed your 64HDD inside a 1571 case, I can only admire it. But if possible, I personnaly would go for EZUSB IC thing: one IC and maybe some buffers. Hide inside the C64 (or whatever) and it looks more realistic. you could even use a module or bootfloppy to program this IC at startup. No PC needed. ___ / __|__ / / |_/ Groetjes, Ruud \ \__|_\ \___| http://Ruud.C64.org Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list
