The document strongly reminds me to the good old spirit ;-).

BTW, I haven't known the Amiga disks were some sort of MFM.

I won't dare to state that the same method was possible with C= GCR
disks. However, the document clears a lot of questions - so after all,
even if the above won't work, still it would be possible to build a
small adapter, that converted the raw bitstream from the floppy head to
an MFM readable (of course, higher bitrate) bitstream 'on the fly', for
the PC MFM decoder.
