Except to maybe an idiot like me, if it has a black screen before and after
the cartridge gets inserted I am no wiser as to whether its something simple
like the Kernal rom or a reset problem :)

My cartridge doesn't have a have the ability to connect a harness to it? As
for the hardness interconencting the ports, I'd like to build it. Have you
(or anyone else) documented the wiring? (I can live without checking the
keyboard automatically)
