I have a VIC-20 RF modulator for the PAL-I standard, which is used in
Great Britain. The sound subcarrier is located at a different offset, and
therefore I get no sound from my PAL-G TV set when using that modulator.
I don't remember the part number, though.

I don't think that the -04 could be an updated version of the -03. There
are many VIC-20 parts where the minor number indicates a different version
(e.g. 901486 is used for both the BASIC and the KERNAL ROMs, with
different suffixes).
