HOWDY ALL, BELOW CAME FROM ENNO IN A REPLY HE SENT ME ON GETTING SOME BACK
ISSUES. HE ASKED ME TO PASS IT ALONG.
Announcement
The entire team of the GO64!/Commodore World would like to apologize to
all readers of the English edition for the irregular arrival of the issues.
In spite of our strong efforts to counter the delay we haven't managed to
get
rid of it. Because of some unpredictable trouble some of our translators
could
not continue their work in an accustomed way, that's why we are in this
predicament now. We have had a lot of discussions to solve the problem and
we think we found a promising solution.
Call for Editors
As you know, we are not a professional publishing company that could afford
professional translators. We are a small group of Commodore-Enthusiasts that
as the dream of contributing to the receipt of the C64 culture and
enthuse new people for this fascinating hobby. That's why we are looking
for American and English people who share our visions and would like to join
us to
contribute to the GO64!/Commodore World as an editor. Our wish is to build
up a complete English editorial staff to make the magazine much more
informative for readers outside Germany. An additional advantage would be
that we no longer need to put a lot of unnecessary effort in the translation
Which was the main reason for our delay so far.
After 12 issues of the 'GO64!/CW' we would like to bring up a 'Commodore
World/GO64!' magazine again with up to date news and articles and slightly
different content to the GO64!/CW, each issue optimized for its target
group. Because of the close cooperation between both editorial staffs a much
better information exchange between our counties than before would be
possible.
In the meantime, the next issues will be released:
#38 on 10/15/2001
#39 on 11/19/2001
#40 on 12/19/2001
If you are interested or have some questions, comments, fears, we would
like to get some feedback from you. Please direct your emails to:
info@go64.de
Please don't use the mailing forum because it might be a bit off topic.
