Ok, I already tried doing this.
The only difference it makes is increasing/decreasing the contrast.
BTW, there are 2 adjustable 'thingies' (sorry), the computer
crashes if I touch one with a metal screwdriver :)
One is white and made of plastic, the other one is red and has a
metal piece in it.
