Hallo,

Laser sent me a picture with the main ICs:
- 27C512
- MB674213U
- D7810HG

The last one is IMHO the processor/micro-controller. The NEC site gave me
nothing, most probably the IC is too old to be worth mentioning. Using
Google I got this usefull paper:
http://www.mitronet.com/chipdir/iset/mpd7810.txt

The MB674213U is a custom IC IMHO. Notice the code starts with MB67 as does
the code of the diskcontroller of the 1541.

Tip: ask for more info on a micro-controller orientated newsgroup (but which
one???)
