Hallo allemaal,
I'm sorry to say but it seems for the moment I cannot forfill my promise. I
realy do have problems with decoding the signals towards the various
registers and lines. I tried to combine three features:
- C64 <-> ISA, 8 + 16 bit transfers
- DMA: - ISA <-> ISA
- ISA <-> C64
- C64 <-> C64
That results in about 8 inputs and 12 outputs. Why "about"? This has to do
with the R/W signal. One moment it is generated by the C64, the other moment
by the 8237. This results in a table with only 32 lines. This is not that
much one would say, but stil.... :(
There are several solutions:
- anybody offers help in the form of "step-by-step" evaluation of the
decoding
- I simplify the goal:
- C64 <-> ISA, 8 + 16 bit transfers (some restrictions on 16-bit part)
- DMA, C64 <-> ISA, 8-bit I/O only
Any comment/help through the list or to private email (include G.Baltissen
(at) hccnet.nl as well) is welcome.
Groetjes, Ruud
