Hallo Prof,

As I'm at work now, I regurly empty my mailbox: what they don't see, they
cannot complain about.
And Nick, being Australian, he probably is sound at sleep :)

Anyway what I can remember:
The key is made of plastic, the upper part is the little cross that brooke
off. Remove the rubber part under the key. Put the brooken cross on its
original place. Heat the needle and push it through the bottom part into the
cross part. Make sure the little knob of the needle rests in the bottom
part. This knob prevents the needle to slid out of the bottom part. Lift the
cross part and add some glue. Put the rubber part back.

The needle is not meant to hold the parts together, it only helps to
stabilize the repaired parts as it disallows horizontal forces.

I hope this helps.

Groetjes, Ruud
